Use your electric drill to screw through the centre of the ceiling rose to take the electric cable, then hold the ceiling rose onto the ceiling and mark round the edges with a pencil. Remove the ceiling rose and mark the ceiling joists, apply adhesive to the ceiling rose then offer back up to the ceiling pressing into place.
Counter sink the ceiling rose to take the head of the screws, then use your electric drill to screw through the rose into the ceiling joists. (not over tightening the screws)
Once secured fill over the screw holes and make good round the edges of the ceiling rose.
